Apply google analytics id to existing events

I have a google analytics ID, but I've spent a bunch of time generating a couple of events. Is there any way to get the analytics into the events? Alternately, is there a way to create a new event (which would have the analytic ID) from an existing event?

Thank you!

Thanks for listening to our need for this activity data! And for responding so quickly. I'm getting great feedback from event organizers about our iVolunteer implementation. It's saving a lot of people a LOT of time!

Google Analytics

Enter your Google Analytics Tracking ID at the Organization level only. iVolunteer will then track visits to all of your events (by event id) as if they were visits to pages on your volunteer web site (i.e. http://my_organization_id.ivolunteer.com/my_event_id).

Currently it will only track visits, but within a week or two it will also track when a visitor presses a Volunteer button, so you should then be able to track "conversions" of visits from potential volunteers vs. volunteers who actually signed up. This is a new feature and we will have some documentation online soon. Eventually we may add more tracking events depending on customers' feedback of this feature.

When I update on the organization page, it says updates won't affect existing tasks, only new ones. Is this true for the analytics?
If I copy a current event as a new event, will the analytics be in effect for the new event?

Thanks,

That is true for all of the settings except for the analytics. We will clarify that on the analytics page in the future. The analytics applies to all of your events, existing events and future events.
