Can we eliminate duplicate answers to prompts when volunteer signs up for multiple slots.

When a volunteer signs up for a slot we have a required prompt which asks them for a T-shirt size. When the volunteer signs up for additional slots the T-shirt question is asked again. We have a choice of 'None- I have already ordered my shirt', but for those people who have the autofill option they will probably not notice or think about changing that answer. Is there any way to have the system ignore a second or third response to this question. We noticed that the line report lists the T-shirt size for each slot which means we could be ordering 2 or 3 shirts for some volunteers. Is there an easy way for us to solve this problem other than looking through our list of 1,000 volunteers looking for duplicates.

Participant Report

The Participant report should give you the results you want. Under the "Options" for the Participant report, check "Include Names" and "Include custom prompts". Uncheck "Include tasks and slots". This will list each unique volunteer once along with the custom values they entered. If someone was confused and entered 2 different shirt sizes you will see that in the report and can take action as needed.

Because you can total the shirts up using the Participant report, you can probably remove "None - I have already ordered" option as it might be confusing.

Please let us know if you have any questions. Thanks for using iVolunteerOnline!
