You asked for an easier way to get started with ivolunteer.com Events. We listened! We’re excited to introduce the New Event Wizard, a.k.a. NEW.
How Does the Wizard Work?
Now when you click the +Add button, the NEW will step you through the setup of your Event. If you’re a pro and prefer the old Event creation method, no problem — you can select “Classic Add” and exit the wizard. But we hope you’ll give the new way a try!
Choose an Event template.
You’ll start by picking an Event template. From a potluck dinner to a sports tournament or vaccine clinic, just select the template that best matches your signup needs. Click in the search box to pull up a list of keywords to filter by.
Step through the wizard.
The NEW will step you through your Event setup, from start date to custom prompts, signup tasks and slots, and reminder emails.
Customize your options.
On any tab, just click More Options to customize your Event further.
NOTE: You’ll still be able to edit your Event settings the usual way after clicking Finish and exiting the wizard.
