Tracking attendance is a key feature of volunteer management software. If you run a busy organization, you may find it a challenge to sign in volunteers or other participants and track their hours on location. At a shelters that serves meals to those in need, for example, many volunteers may be arriving and leaving throughout the day.

ivolunteer.com has always provided a way for administrators to sign in participants with the Sign-In tab under Event Details & Actions. But what if your staff on location do not administer your ivolunteer.com Events and should not have access to the Manage tab or other settings?

ivolunteer now has a new, pared-down administrative role to help you track your participants: the Event Sign-In administrator. This administrator can log in and do just one thing: use the Sign-In tab for the events that a higher-level administrator has assigned to them.

The screenshot below shows an Event Sign-In admin’s simplified screen after logging in.

Please reach out to us if you have any questions about this new administrative role, the sign-in process, or anything else. We’re here to help.

Thanks for using ivolunteer!
