# How do I modify my information for a commitment?

Depending on the organization's settings, you can make changes to your volunteer signup by signing into your [My Commitments portal](https://participant.ivolunteer.com/) with your email address. Select the signup slot you want to change.

### To modify the information you entered:

1. Click on the **+** (plus) sign next to the commitment / slot to expand it.
2. Click the **Edit** button.
3. Make your chages and press the Save button.

*Note: If you do not see an **Edit **button it is because [self cancellation](https://ivolunteer.com/support-docs/how-do-i-cancel-a-commitment-slot/) is not allowed, and therefore editing is also not allowed, by the organization.  **Please contact your event administrator if you need further assistance.***
